  How to board?

 Please reserve at first.
   Reservation is
   ① available at our reception desk of each airport counter in Ohshima, Niijima, Kouzushima, Miyakejima, and Chofu. ※1
   ② Available at travel agencies such as ( JTB , KNT , Nippon Travel , Keio Travel , TECO PLAZA , TOBU TOP TOURS , Odakyu Travel) . ※2
   ③ Internet site ※3
   
   ※1 In case a passenger reserves on the phone, please ask our counter at each airport
      from the same date before one month of the boarding day.
      ( 08:30 ~ 17:00 )
      As reservation is available at any airport counter regardless of route,
      please ask some other airport counter in case the line is busy.
   
   ※2 In case a passenger reserves at a travel agency, the reservation is available from the same date before one month of the boarding day.
      In case a passenger visits the travel agency, please visit before 16:30 due to ticket issuing.
   
   ※3 From 10:00 am of the same date before one month of the boarding day.
    Available at any time after the same date before one month of the boarding day.
   
Q
 Can a passenger change to some other passenger's name?
   

A

 A passenger cannot change to some other passenger's name after payment.
   In case a passenger change reservation, please reserve again after cancellation of the reservation once.
   It is charged prescribed fee.
   

RESERVATION ON THE PHONE

 

Q

 In case of reservation on the phone, what is a passenger asked?
   

A

 ・ Passenger's full name
   ・ Age( ※ including infant not more than 2 years old )
   ・ Mobile phone number( Personal Handy phone System is not available in islands.)
   ・ Telephone number of a passenger's house, or workplace
   ・ Contact telephone number in the island, as mobile phone cannot connect in some places.
   ・ Terms of payment
   
   ※ In case a passenger has handicap and requests some assistance such as a wheel chair,
   or auxiliary stairway when the passenger boards, please ask us.
   ※ As we guide reservation number and payment number, please prepare writing material and note.

 Can a passenger wait for a cancellation?
   

A

 In case a passenger waits for a cancellation, please ask each sales branch on the phone.
   Please request waiting list before 17:00 on the previous day of the boarding date.
   On that day, we will serve a passenger in order of arrival to the departure airport.

 In case of internet reservation, how many days in advance can a passenger reserve?
   

A

 From 10:00 am of the same date before one month of the boarding day
 

 Reservation is available at any time after the same date before one month of the boarding day.

 When is a time limit of internet reservation?
   

A

 It is available to three hours before time of departure of the flight.
   Reservation is available on the phone from three hours before time of departure of the flight.
 
 
Q
 Can a passenger wait for a cancellation on internet?
   

A

 Unfortunately, a passenger cannot wait for a cancellation on internet.
   In case a passenger waits for a cancellation, please ask each sales branch on the phone.
   Please request waiting list before 17:00 on the previous day of the boarding date.
   On that day, we will serve a passenger in order of arrival to the departure airport.

 Even if a passenger reserve on the phone, can the passenger pay for air ticket on internet?
   

A

 It is available.
   Regarding registration of payment information, in case a passenger input the reservation number and the passenger's telephone number in
 

 "Passenger who reserved "of "Top Page", the passenger can select terms of payment.

 
 
Q

 Fare classification available on internet reservation.

   

A

 A passenger can reserve among fares for adult, child, discount fare for round trip, and discount fare for islander on internet.

   In case a passenger reserves discount fare for islander, the passenger should show a certificate of the island resident
   such as a driver's license or a health insurance card when the passenger checks in.  ※Copy is not acceptable.

 Can a passenger use "discount fare for disabled person" on internet?
   

A

 Unfortunately, a passenger cannot reserve the discount fare for disabled person on internet.
   Please ask on the phone, or at the airport counter.
 
 
Q
 How may seats can a passenger reserve at a time on internet?
   

A

 A passenger can reserve five seats at a time on internet.
   In case of reservation more than five seats, please reserve dividedly.

 In case a passenger purchase early, can the passenger receive discount?
   

A

 Early reservation discount is not available.

 User guide for terminal at a convenience store.
   

A

 Please refer homepage of each convenience store, or ask a staff at the store.
   We cannot guide on terminal at the convenience store.

 Can a passenger designate seat on internet? 
   

A

 As we take passengers' weight balance of the day into account, the passenger cannot designate seat.

 Even if a passenger reserves on the phone, can the passenger cancel on internet? 
   

A

 In case a passenger paid with credit card, cancellation is available.
   In other cases, please ask on the phone.

 In case a passenger does not know the reservation number, how should the passenger do?
   

A

 We will guide on the phone. A passenger can confirm it at any sales branch.
   It is available from 8:30 to 17:00 as our business hours.

 Can a passenger reserve with smart phone?
   

A

 In case smart phone can connect with internet, the passenger can reserve with smart phone.
   Website for smart phone is not available.
 

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

 How is terms of payment?
   

A

 Terms of payment are as follows.

   ① Settlement with credit card ( internet reservation, reservation on the phone, airport counter )
   ② Payment at convenience store( Issue of payment number is required. )
   ③ Payment at airport counter ( cash, credit card )
   ※ As it is very crowded in the arrival time and the departure time of aircraft, a passenger may wait for procedure in some cases.

 Is ticket issuing available at a travel agency?
   

A

 Ticket issuing, purchase and payment are available at the travel agency.
   Please visit the travel agency before 16:30 due to ticket issuing.

 Can a passenger cancel due to personal reasons?
   

A

 In case a passenger cannot use, please cancel the reservation.

   In case a passenger cancel, it will be charged prescribed fee.

BAGGAGE

 
Q
 Can a passenger carry on baggage? 
   

A

 It is no space to put a passenger's baggage around the passenger's seat or over the passenger's head due to compact plane.
   A passenger can carry on only one baggage to hold on the passenger's lap.
   A passenger can carry on only drink with cap such as pet bottle or water bottle.

 Can a passenger take a carry case?
   

A

 In case the sum of the length, width, and height of the carry case is within 158 cm, we will keep the carry case in cargo compartment.

 Can a passenger take a surfboard, or a fishing pole?
   

A

 As cargo compartment is small, a passenger's baggage cannot be accepted in some cases.
 

 In case a passenger takes a surfboard or a fishing pole, please ask us on the phone when the passenger reserves.

   Notice:A passenger cannot operate such a baggage on internet reservation.
   In a passenger reserves seat on internet, please ask us such a baggage on the phone.
   
 

 ① Surfboard

     In case the length of a passenger's baggage including case is not within two meters, we cannot keep the baggage.
     Such a baggage is required case one by one.
   
   ② Fishing pole
     Please put each baggage into case, or put a cover on the tip. The baggage should be not more than two meters.
 
 
Q

 Can a passenger carry on a bicycle?

   

A

 In case a bicycle is foldable in a carry bag, and the sum of the length, width, and height of the carry bag is within one meter,
 we can keep the carry bag.
   As such a baggage cannot be accepted depend on reservation condition, please confirm it when a passenger reserves.
 

OPERATION

 In case of bad weather, will a flight be cancelled? 
   

A

 In case a weather condition of departure place, destination, or route falls below our operation standard, the flight will be cancelled in some cases.
   Operation time is subject to change due to weather condition in some cases.
   The route to Miyakejima may affect operation due to emission of volcanic gas in Miyakejima.
   For operation status of the day , please ask our counter at the airport.
 
 
Q
 What kind of situation is "Conditional operation"? 
   

A

 "Conditional operation" is a situation that the flight may not arrive at a destination due to bad weather.
   In case we have judge that the flight cannot arrive at the destination, the flight will return to the departure airport.
 
 
Q
 Is a rest room installed in a aircraft?
   

A

 A rest room is not installed in a aircraft.

   Please use a rest room at the terminal before boarding.
 

ACCESS TO CHOHU AIRPORT AND EQUIPMENT OF THE AIRPORT

 How long ago of boarding time should a passenger check in?
   

A

 As closing time of check-in is 30 minutes before time of departure, please finish check-in at a counter before the closing time.
   It may take time for check-in and safety inspection in some cases due to reinforcement for safety structure.
   Please arrive at the airport in plenty of time.

 How should a passenger go from the nearest station to Chofu Airport?
   

A

 Around 15 minutes (around 2,000 yen) by taxi from Minami-guchi of Musashi-Sakai Station on JR Chuo Line,
   and Kita-guchi of Chofu Station on Keio Line.
   In case a passenger takes a bus for Chofu Airport from Chofu Station, please use Odakyu bus . (around 15 minutes)
   Or, please take Odakyu bus or Keio bus that passes Ohsawa Community Center bus stop near Chofu Airport from Chofu Station.
   ( Around 20 minutes from Chofu Station to Ohsawa Community Center bus stop )
   Around 15 minutes on foot from Ohsawa Community Center to Chofu Airport
   Closing time of check-in is 30 minutes before time of departure.
 
 
Q
 Is there a parking lot or a bicycle parking lot around Chofu Airport? If there is, can a passenger reserve it?
   

A

 There are the metropolitan first pay parking lot in capacity of around 25 cars in front of the terminal,
   and the metropolitan second pay parking lot in capacity of around 80 cars at 100 meters away from the terminal.
 

 Parking fee is 100 yen per hour, and 1,000 yen at maximum per day.( as of April, 2015 )The coin parking is open 24 hours.

   A passenger cannot reserve.
   The parking lot may be full on holiday season such as Saturday, Sunday, national holiday,
   a succession of holidays in early May, and summer vacation. We recommend use of public transportation.
   Please note that there is not a parking lot for a bicycle or a motorcycle.

 Is the airport terminal available for a personal computer?
   

A

 Yes, it is available.
   There are available for metropolitan free Wi-Fi spots at Chofu Airport terminal and Ohshima Airport terminal.

   There are not available for a power supply and an internet café.

 Is there a restaurant, kiosk, and coin locker in the terminal? 
   

A

 There is not a restaurant in the terminal.There are vending machines for drink, bread, and snack.
   In case a passenger walk for around 15 minutes, there is a family restaurant and a convenience store.
   There is not a coin locker.

  Is there an ATM in the terminal?
   

A

 Please note that there is not an ATM in the airport and around the terminal.

 After a passenger passes the safety inspection area, is there a smoking area or a vending machine for drink
   at the departure lounge? 
   Is there a rest room?  
   

A

 Please note that there is not a smoking area nor a vending machine at departure lounge after a passenger passes the safety inspection area.
